July 15th, 2011Have old home videos or other family movies to preserve and/or modernize? I can convert VHS tapes to DVD.
Rates:
$15/DVD ($20 if more than 2 tapes combined)
Additional copies $4 each
Graphic labels $0.75/each
Minimum recording: 15 minutes/DVD
Maximum recording: 4.5 hours/DVD
General turn-around: 24-48 hours depending on volume

April 8th, 2010I/We are trying to learn and use the knowledge to get this blog site up and running correctly.
The look and feel of the VFWDS blog may change as code, widgets, and whistles are tested and possibly discarded.
Any feedback or suggestions would be welcome.
New Library section
March 12th, 2010After much deliberation, the new section title will be called Whimsy! As in flight of or of no real consequence or function.
Some of the images will be matched into other relevant groups.

Slightly off
March 6th, 2010Trying to name a new category within the Graphics Library, but can’t come up with right word to do so.
The images in this group are, for now: a lava lamp, rabbit foot, peace symbol, molecules, and some block shapes…
“miscellaneous” is not an option, and retro, random, symbols, and notions just don’t seem to fit. The thesaurus has yet to help.
Suggestions welcome!
New toys to work with…
March 5th, 2010I now have for my use a DVD/VCR recorder machine, that allows for dubbing copies and converted old VHS tapes to DVD for posterity. So far, I have saved old family memory films and personal recordings that could never be recaptured.
I have also added to my gadgetry a Laminating machine. I will adding more document services to the Solutions repertoire.
We’re into it now!
